Since 1984, Wheelsmith has been producing a line of stainless steel spokes that is known and used worldwide. All Wheelsmith spokes, manufactured in Montana, are produced from a specifically drawn 304 stainless steel using a variety of cold forging techniques, some proprietary. All of those processes work to increase strength and reduce fatigue resistance. Wheelsmith spokes are made from corrosion proof stainless steel and do not need a coating of grease or oil for protection. Offered in 14 straight gauge or a 14/15 gauge double butted version. Build up with a Mavic Reflex, Open Pro or CXP-33 rim and hubset of your choice and you’ll have one incredibly reliable wheelset for training and / or racing.
