The American Classic Conversion Cassette, 10 speed, allows a rider to ride a Shimano®-splined 8, 9 or 10 speed rear wheel with Campagnolo 10 speed drivetrains. This cassette has steel chrome plated cogs with the larger cogs pinned to an alloy carrier for clean shifting. Alloy lockring is included. 11-23, 230 grams. 12-23, 250 grams. 12-25, 272 grams.
American Classic cassettes can only be used with corresponding Shimano freehub body types and it cannot be used with Campagnolo freehub body types. It will not fit Shimano paired spoke wheelsets, such as; Mavic wheelsets having M9 or M10 freehub body types and Powertap rear hubs. This cassette is also not compatible with any Campagnolo chain that is a Perma-link type.
