  1. Silky smoooth, fe...ather light

Great all around wheel. Lower profile rim doesn't get blown around in crosswinds like deeper rims. 700x25 tires fit nicely in wider rims.

  2. Good quality wheels

Posted by Rich on 2nd May 2017

I bought these wheels after considering many. Sizing aside, I chose this because it was the lightest quality carbon wheel that didn't have a tire pressure cap, which indicates a sturdier wheel to me. The only minor inconvenience is that since I ordered the Shimano hub for the Campy wheel, I needed the 1.85 mm (and maybe also the 1 mm) spacer(s), but spacers did not come with the wheels. I only did one ride on them so far, so I can't comment about any long term experiences. I have Vittoria Corsa G5+ tires on them. The ride is noticably nicer and faster than my old wheels - Ritchey WCS with Vittoria Open Corsa EVO CX tires. The Campy wheel is also much quieter, which I like. But so far so good.

  3. Typical Superb Campy Product

Posted by Rare Clan on 24th Feb 2017

I have always been a fan of Campy equipment and especially their wheels. The Bora One 35's are my 5th pair of Campy wheels so far. I have ridden on wheels from Zipp, HED, ENVE, Reynolds, Mavic, American Classic, on and on. Some of which I still have and ride. None of them can compare to Campy for me. The closest comparison would be ENVE I suppose. Campy doesn't normally throw around a lot of "scientific" data from wind-tunnels etc. to try to prove their wheels like the HED and Zipp folks, but in my opinion that is mostly hype and very rarely applicable in the real world of cycling - especially racing. These wheels are just as fast, if not faster than all the rest. On top of that they are great looking and very well built. I have experienced no flex while sprinting (same goes for the other Campy wheels I own) and they roll like butter. If you are debating whether to go with the 50's or 35's it's a tough call. The 50's do seem to roll slightly better on the flats (maybe more aero or do to the rotational mass?) and the 35's do seem to be a little better on very long/extended climbs (and slightly more snap out of a corner sprinting), but these differences are extremely minimal and it might simply come down to which one you like the looks of better.
