Even the toughest courses look easy on our cross bikes. Our race proven cross bikes are ready for anything that is thrown it’s way… mud, gravel, beer cans. During cyclocross season the days are shorter and the nights are colder but our cyclocross bikes are lighting up the course.
Mud in your face, grit in your teeth, yeah you’ve heard it all before, but what you haven’t heard is the Lapierre CX Carbon Cross bike is ridden by seven time French National Champion, Francis Mourey. Donning the same paint scheme as the Pro Tour team, FDJ, this bike inspires all who get the opportunity to throw a leg over one or sling it over their shoulder.
Once you’re finished drooling over the beautiful paint job, you’ll notice this bike spares no detail. The frame uses two types of carbon, high modulus and high resistant, that is constructed using a tube-to-tube process creates the most efficient ride in the mud, through the sand, or over your shoulder. For those still undecided between disc brakes or canti, won’t need to make a definitive decision because the CX Carbon has the capabilities for both. The fork is a full carbon piece of art that is light, stiff, and designed to shed mud. The seat stays on the rear end bow out to help with mud shedding and stiffens up your ride while allowing a disc brake hub to fit in effortlessly. Ok, you can get back to drooling now.
Arming this race weapon is Shimano’s CX70 front derailleur and crank that is designed, engineered, and tested for all types of course and conditions that you will encounter during the cyclo cross season. The Ultegra shifters and rear derailleur are time tested components that will stand up to all the elements, while the Avid BB7 cable actuated disc brakes leave no concern when braking after an afternoon full of sand, mud, and gunk. The finishing touches on this bike are the Easton EA50 seat post, stem, and handlebar.
Cyclo cross is rising to the premiere sport in cycling and to be the best you have to ride the best, just ask Francis.
