I'll say again that they are awesome right out of the box. I have about 500 miles on these wheels and they are awesome right out of the box from Texas Cyclesport, I would recommend them to anyone that wants a trouble free wheelset.
TexasCyclesport has the best deal I could find on these wheels. Out of the box they were perfectly true, put my cassette on the rear and headed out the door for a 40 miler. Was not disappointed, they rode exactly like I expected. A plus, they're 11-spd compatible and come with the 1.85mm spacer for your 10-spd cassette (make sure to get your 1mm spacer off your old wheels, you'll need both spacers for a 10-spd setup on these hubs. My experience with previous Open Pro Rims, they're bombproof, I've got a set with 20,000 miles on them and I'm 200lbs. TXC's customer support is 2nd to none, I'll continue to support these guys. It is a deal, being handbuilt. I have always used shimano hubs and mavic rims. The hubs are easy to maintain or repack if needed. Overall, I don't mind getting my bike on gravel roads or do bunny hops off/on curbs with this wheelset.
