The Ritchey Cyclo Cross Break-Away Frameset is a full size steel road bike that disassembles and folds-up in minutes. This frames uses proven Ritchey design and geometry with custom heat treated Ritchey CroMoly steel tubing. 1 1/8” Headtube. A Ritchey Pro all Carbon Fork and a Ritchey Pro Headset is included.
The investment cast lugs and CroMoly compression coupling by the bottom bracket are an integral part of this design. The lugs securely grip the seatpost in two places and join the upper portion of main triangle to the rear. On the downtube nearly at the bottom bracket shell the compression coupling forms the lower connection for the front and rear triangles. The coupler clamps unobtrusively around small flanges on the downtube. This simple and very effective design only adds only 100 grams to the frame. Requires a 28.6mm 1 1/8” front derailleur and a 27.2mm seatpost. Frame and fork 6.4 lbs 58cm. Orange and grey with Ritchey logos.
