    If all front derailleurs worked like this one, the new 1X standard might be years away. The only problem I ever had with my original derailleur is that the nub that provides tension on the return spring broke after 3.5 years. That is why I purchased a replacement. This is the best functioning front derailleur I have had in more than 30 years.
